Silimarina este substanţa biologic activă cu efecte benefice asupra funcţiei hepatobiliare. Are efect de stabilizare a membranei hepatocitului (celula hepatică) fiind un foarte bun trofic şi protector hepatic. Eficacitatea sa este mărită de asocierea cu armurariu, care îmbogăţeşte conţinutul în silimarină al produsului.

Adjuvant în afecţiuni hepatice.
